QIIB – More than 33 years of achievements

QIIB was established in 1990 as a full service bank committed to Shariah principles, based on an Amiri Decree, and launched the relevant activities in 1991 in the capital of the State of Qatar, Doha. Currently, QIIB operates through a network of 15 branches in the State of Qatar. The bank offers several banking services to its customers, through regular and alternate channels, in addition its phone banking service and a 24×7 call center.

QIIB has reached an advanced position and firmly proved itself, being rated ‘A2’ by Moody’s with a stable outlook, and ‘-A’ by Fitch, with a positive outlook. Furthermore, the bank received several important international awards, including “Best Islamic Bank in Qatar”.

QIIB emphasizes in its strategy on offering Shariah-compliant, comprehensive and innovative solutions to corporate and personal clients, while ensuring the provision of banking services based on the best globally approved standards.

QIIB contributes effectively to different development programs and projects in the State of Qatar, by financing many of the large projects, especially the significant infrastructure projects. And the Bank gives exceptional attention to SMEs as well, having a special department for such enterprises, since large scale development of this sector requires specific support for these enterprises.
