QC Chairman receives delegates of ‘Made in Qatar’ expo

Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani on Thursday met with several Kuwaiti businessmen on the sidelines of the ‘Made in Qatar’ expo in Kuwait.

The meetings reviewed enhancing co-operation between the private sector of both the countries and ways of forging partnerships and alliances and establishing joint ventures.

Sheikh Khalifa also met with a delegation from the Kuwait Central Municipality Council (CMC) headed by the vice president Mr. Mohamed bin Hamad Al Attan.

Sheikh Khalifa also toured the pavilions at the expo, alongside with Qatar’s ambassador to Kuwait, Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, as well as other Qatar Chamber officials including Sheikh Hamad bin Faysal al-Thani, QC board member Dr Khalid bin Klefeekh al-Hajri and QC Director General Saleh bin Al Sharqi.

In the expo’s second day, Qatar-based Al Ahmadani Medical Company and Kuwait-based Kuwaiti-Omani entity Sickness alert Company signed a co-operation agreement to join hands in distributing a medical product produced by the latter.

Sheikh Khalifa and Qatar ambassador to Kuwait witnessed the signing ceremony.

Mr. Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani signed the agreement with the company’s owner Fahad Mubarak Al Khrenj.

Commenting on the singing, Al Ahmadani said that the expo gave Qatari companies a good opportunity to explore external markets and promote their products abroad.
